Penn State defeats Temple 27-9 at Lincoln Financial Field

Penn State defeated Temple 27-9 on September 12 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The Nittany Lions held a 10-3 lead at halftime following a 23-yard touchdown pass from Rocco Becht to Benjamin Brahmer. Although Penn State struggled with dropped passes and missed field goals early, the team controlled the second half to secure the win. Becht finished the day with three touchdown passes, while running back Jaxon Smolik recorded 71 rushing yards. Temple’s scoring was limited to a first-half field goal by Carl Hardin and a late rushing touchdown by Ajani Sheppard. The win leaves Penn State without a turnover through the first two games of the season.
