Penn State football enters its game against Temple at Lincoln Financial Field without sophomore defensive end Max Granville. Granville, who appeared in the season opener against Marshall, was not in uniform for pregame warmups due to an undisclosed injury. Head coach Matt Campbell confirmed the team also remains without edge rusher LaVar Arrington II, who is expected to miss at least a month following a knee procedure. Tight end Cooper Alexander is sidelined for the second consecutive week as well. Despite these absences, the Lions are set to see the return of defensive tackle Armstrong Nnodim, linebacker Alex Tatsch, and tight end Gabe Burkle. These three players missed the team's victory over Marshall last week. The defensive rotation will rely on Caleb Bacon, Ike Ezeogu, and Yvan Kemajou to fill the void left by the injured personnel.
