Penrith Panthers sign forward Kalani Going to a one-year contract extension

The Penrith Panthers have secured forward Kalani Going on a one-year contract extension that keeps him with the club through the 2027 season. Going joined the Panthers from the New Zealand Warriors this year on a one-year deal. He has made four NRL appearances for Penrith during the current campaign while playing 17 games in the NSW Cup. His performance in the reserve grade included 42 tackle breaks and a 93.6 per cent tackle efficiency. A former captain for the New Zealand Warriors' NSW Cup team, Going previously earned the club's NSW Cup Player of the Year award in 2025. He now heads into the 2027 season with an opportunity to compete for a consistent spot in the Penrith first-grade lineup.
