Peoria Rivermen sign wingers Alfred Rotiroti and Bohdan Zinchenko for season

The Peoria Rivermen announced the signing of two wingers, Alfred Rotiroti and Bohdan Zinchenko, ahead of the 2026-27 SPHL season. Rotiroti joins the roster following a four-year career at Rivier University and a stint with the FPHL’s Biloxi team. The forward previously gained online attention for a viral hit delivered during his collegiate tenure. Zinchenko, a Kyiv native, brings three seasons of FPHL experience to Peoria after playing for teams including Danbury, Danville, Athens, and Indiana. A Concordia University graduate, he also previously operated a hockey venture in Montreal. These additions bring the current Rivermen roster to 13 signed players as the organization builds toward the upcoming campaign. The team’s personnel changes reflect a strategy to integrate both collegiate prospects and veteran professional experience into their SPHL lineup.
