Peru's Club Deportivo Municipal introduces shirt featuring 1,000 sponsors

Club Deportivo Municipal, competing in Copa Peru, unveiled a unique shirt adorned with one thousand sponsor logos as part of their initiative launched to fund the season after relegation. The program, titled 'Los Mil Sponsors del Muni,' was successful in attracting numerous businesses by offering affordable sponsorship space. The club raised approximately R$ 302,600, crucial for its operations. Despite these efforts, Deportivo Municipal was recently eliminated from the Liga Departamental de Lima, hindering their attempt at promotion to Liga 2. They aim to regroup for the next competition in 2027.
