Pete Crow-Armstrong hits first-pitch home run in Cubs' victory over Giants

Pete Crow-Armstrong homered on the first pitch of the game as the Chicago Cubs defeated the San Francisco Giants 6-1 on June 13. Crow-Armstrong's blast off Trevor McDonald marked his 12th home run of the season. He also contributed with a double and a single. Cubs pitcher Ben Brown allowed one run on seven hits over five innings. Ian Happ and Pedro Ramírez added solo home runs in the fifth inning. Cubs right fielder Seiya Suzuki exited the game in the fourth due to right knee discomfort while attempting to field a ball. The Cubs are set to face the Giants again for the series finale.
