Peter King criticizes NFL's push for 18-game season as disingenuous

Summary

During an appearance on The MMQB NFL Podcast, Peter King condemned the NFL's argument for adding an 18th game to the schedule, calling it 'the most disingenuous pile of crap.' King contended that this move contradicts the league's stated commitment to player safety. He highlighted increasing game snaps this season and discussed how the plan could exacerbate injury risks, despite the NFL making strides to reduce player collisions. King also mentioned potential compromises, such as limiting some players to 17 games.
