Petr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili prepare for trilogy fight at UFC 333

Petr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili are set to meet for their trilogy fight at UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi on Saturday. Their previous encounters saw Dvalishvili win decisively in March 2023, while Yan avenged that loss with a dominant performance in December. Leading up to the fight, Yan expressed confidence in his ability to control the bout and counter Dvalishvili's style. Both fighters bring significant experience, with Dvalishvili having fought four times in 2025, including the rematch against Yan. The fight marks a fresh start to the year for both fighters after nearly ten months off since their last meeting.
