PGA Tour announces revamped 2027 schedule featuring new events

The PGA Tour has unveiled its schedule for the 2027 FedExCup season, set from January to August. The calendar includes eight Signature Events and introduces the Sompo Championship as a penultimate tournament from July 29-August 1. The schedule also marks a rebranding of the Greensboro tournament to the GO by Raymond James. The Cadillac Championship will take place at Trump National Doral from March 4-7, ahead of The Players Championship. The current format will transition to a two-tiered model starting in 2028, with a new match play format for the season-ending Tour Championship.
