PGA Tour Champions returns to Palm Coast for Furyk & Friends event

Summary

The PGA Tour Champions event, Constellation Furyk & Friends, is set for October 9-11 at the Ocean Course, Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast. It marks the first PGA Tour Champions event in Flagler County in 18 years, after previous tournaments ended following the 2008 real estate collapse. Local golf stakeholders believe this event will enhance the area's golf scene and attract visitors, with prominent players such as Retief Goosen and Vijay Singh participating. The tournament aims to elevate the visibility of both the resort and the local golf offerings over its five-year run, which could benefit multiple golf courses in the area.
