PGA Tour reveals first Championship Series events for 2028 season

The PGA Tour announced the inaugural Championship Series events set for 2028, consisting of top-tier tournaments with purses of at least $20 million. The Travelers Championship and a yet-to-be-named event sponsored by Sompo are among the confirmed events. The Championship Series will feature around 15 regular-season events and four major championships, while a Challenger Series will comprise at least 20 events with lower prize funds.
