Philadelphia 76ers may target Henri Veesaar in 2026 NBA Draft

The Philadelphia 76ers are considering North Carolina big man Henri Veesaar with their No. 22 pick in the upcoming 2026 NBA Draft on June 23. After reaching the second round of the playoffs, the Sixers look to enhance their roster around current players Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe. Veesaar, standing at 7 feet, demonstrated valuable shooting skills, making 52.6% of his three-point attempts in the 2025-26 season. However, concerns about his core strength and ability to defend against stronger centers persist. The Sixers are in need of a solid backup center behind Joel Embiid, which could make Veesaar a fitting option for the team.
