Philadelphia 76ers reflect on drafting Michael Carter-Williams in 2013
Summary

The Philadelphia 76ers selected Michael Carter-Williams with the No. 11 pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. After a disappointing 2012-13 season, the franchise entered a new phase, trading All-Star Jrue Holiday for a higher pick. Carter-Williams had a strong rookie season, averaging 16.7 points and earning the Rookie of the Year award. However, injuries led to his trade to the Milwaukee Bucks in 2015, with subsequent stints at the Chicago Bulls, Charlotte Hornets, Houston Rockets, and Orlando Magic. His career has been impacted by injuries, including missing the entire 2021-22 season before returning briefly in 2022-23.
