Philadelphia Eagles sign 13 players to initial practice squad

The Philadelphia Eagles established their initial 2026 practice squad on Monday by signing 13 players who participated in the team's training camp. The group includes wide receiver Britain Covey and running backs Dameon Pierce and Carson Steele, both of whom were released as vested veterans before signing these contracts. Philadelphia also retained three members of their 2026 draft class in defensive tackle Uar Bernard and outside linebackers Keyshawn James-Newby and Cole Wisniewski.
