Phillies evaluate trade options as MLB deadline approaches

As the MLB trade deadline nears, the Philadelphia Phillies are assessing their prospects to enhance the team for a postseason run. While the focus has been on acquiring offensive players and relievers, the team's farm system ranks 29th in the league, complicating potential deals. Prospects like Alirio Ferrebus and Bryan Rincon are highlighted for their growing trade value, although their contributions may not suffice for major acquisitions. Marty Gair's impressive pitching velocity makes him an intriguing option, but the team's needs remain a topic of discussion amid trade strategizing.
