Phillies face tough trade deadline decision on outfielder options

The Philadelphia Phillies, eight games behind the Atlanta Braves, seek to bolster their roster by adding an outfielder following Adolis Garcia's injury. Reports suggest the team is likely to target players comparable to Austin Hays or Harrison Bader. This assessment stems from concerns over the depth of the Phillies' farm system, which limits their ability to acquire a more impactful player without sacrificing top prospects. The situation has drawn disappointment from fans, as high-profile targets like Mike Trout and Byron Buxton appear unlikely to join the team through trade.
