Phoenix Rising moves within two points of playoff position

Phoenix Rising secured a home win against Indy Eleven on Saturday, moving within two points of a playoff spot. Dominique Badji scored for the hosts in the fourth minute before a Pape Mar Boye own goal leveled the score shortly after. Daniel Flores provided the deciding goal later in the first half with a free kick. While Indy Eleven controlled much of the second half, they struggled to generate shots on target against goalkeeper Patrick Rakovsky. The match also marked the debut of recent loan signing Juan David Torres, who replaced Rafael Czichos in the 63rd minute. The result allows Phoenix Rising to gain ground in the standings as they continue their push for a playoff position.
