Phoenix Suns host San Antonio Spurs in televised preseason basketball matchup

The NBA confirmed five preseason games will receive national television coverage, including a meeting between the Phoenix Suns and the San Antonio Spurs. The game is scheduled for October 10 at 7:30 p.m. MST at the Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix and will be broadcast on ESPN2. This contest features the Spurs, who are the defending Western Conference champions, against a Suns team that split its four-game series with them during the 2025-26 season. Additional preseason matchups featuring the Sacramento Kings, Los Angeles Lakers, Orlando Magic, Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, and Denver Nuggets are also slated for national broadcast on ESPN or ESPN2 throughout October. Beyond this exhibition, the league has designated five regular-season Phoenix Suns games for national broadcast on NBA TV, beginning with their home opener against the Golden State Warriors on October 24.
