Phoenix Suns negotiate with Collin Gillespie and Jordan Goodwin ahead of free agency

Summary

The Phoenix Suns are in discussions to re-sign free agents Collin Gillespie and Jordan Goodwin as they approach the 2026 offseason. The team is currently $19 million under the luxury tax with ten players signed for the 2026-2027 season. Gillespie set a franchise record for three-pointers made and is expected to command a substantial salary. Goodwin's expected lower salary could facilitate his re-signing. The Suns also aim to retain starting center Mark Williams, who they have Bird Rights for, limiting the need for trades to keep their roster intact.
