Ausilio had served as the director of sport for the Serie A club since February 2014. Matteo Moretto reported the ongoing dialogue on a YouTube channel hosted by Fabrizio Romano. If finalized, the move would see the 51-year-old join a North London staff that currently features manager Roberto De Zerbi and midfielder Sandro Tonali. Tottenham previously employed an Italian director of sport, Fabio Paratici, for a short period.
