Pioli expresses interest in returning to Serie A for next coaching role

Stefano Pioli, 61, indicated his desire to return to Serie A, stating he wants to prove he is not washed up. The former Fiorentina manager discussed his future with Corriere dello Sport, noting he has received some interest in Italy but stronger offers from abroad. Pioli clarified his exit from Fiorentina involved a mutual termination after being sacked last November. He mentioned that critics label experienced coaches as washed up too quickly and that success in football can change perceptions rapidly.
