Pirates acquire Lake Bachar from Marlins ahead of trade deadline

The Pittsburgh Pirates have traded for reliever Lake Bachar from the Miami Marlins just before the trade deadline. In exchange, Pittsburgh sent relief pitcher Brandan Bidois, outfield prospect Brian Sanchez, and infield prospect Hyun Seung Lee to Miami. Bachar, who has a 3.84 ERA this season, is in his third big-league year and is under club control through 2030.
