The Pittsburgh Pirates confirmed that Ryan O’Hearn will be sidelined for 6-8 weeks due to a left quad strain. O’Hearn sustained the injury during the ninth inning of a game against the Reds and has been placed on the 10-day injured list. He has posted a.270 batting average with 17 home runs this season. The team also activated Rafael Flores Jr. off the concussion list while optioning Antwone Kelly to Triple-A and recalling Isaac Mattson.
