Pirates recall Rafael Flores Jr., place Henry Davis on paternity leave

The Pittsburgh Pirates recalled catcher/first baseman Rafael Flores Jr. from Triple-A Indianapolis and placed catcher Henry Davis on the paternity list. Flores, who played 53 games with Indianapolis this season, hit.207 with four home runs and 27 RBI. Davis has a.138 batting average in 45 games this season but maintains a strong.993 fielding percentage. Additionally, Joey Bart will begin a rehab assignment with Low-A Bradenton after dealing with a left foot infection since May.
