The Pittsburgh Pirates have signed outfielder Kyler Fedko to a two-year Minor League contract. Fedko, a Gibsonia native, made his MLB debut with the Minnesota Twins in June and had a.907 OPS in Triple-A last year, although he is currently recovering from a torn ACL and MCL. He expects to return to action around February. The signing comes after Fedko was previously designated for assignment by the Twins, allowing the Pirates to secure him. Fedko hit.274 with 17 homers and 54 RBIs while playing for St. Paul last season.
