Pirates struggle in series against Brewers, Skenes faces challenges

Summary

The Pirates have lost five consecutive series and are now three games under.500. Their offense has struggled, failing to score more than four runs in any game this month. Pitcher Paul Skenes, despite previous success, has faced challenges, posting a 5.20 ERA over his last 15 starts, contributing to the team's difficulties in the wild card race.
