Pirates trade Hunter Stratton to Padres for Andrew Moore

Summary

The Pittsburgh Pirates traded right-handed pitcher Hunter Stratton to the San Diego Padres on August 3, 2026, in exchange for minor-league right-hander Andrew Moore. Stratton had been designated for assignment earlier in the week. He pitched for the Pirates from 2023 to 2025 and returned to the team this summer after a trade with the Braves.
