Pirate’s Wharf 5K set for Oct. 10 at Quantico's Pirate’s Wharf Park

The Eastern Shore Running Club will host the third annual Pirate’s Wharf 5K on Oct. 10 at Pirate’s Wharf Park in Quantico. The race, beginning at 9 a.m., will feature a new three-loop course due to ongoing construction at the venue. Proceeds from the event will go towards the club's scholarship program, which has awarded funds to local high school seniors since 2019. After the race, participants can enjoy music from DJ T-Dome and complimentary açaí bowls. Registration is available on race day, with fees set at $40 for participants aged 20 and older, and $30 for those 19 and younger.
