Pirelli announces tyre selection for Barcelona-Catalunya GP

Pirelli has confirmed the tyre allocation for the upcoming 2026 Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix. Teams will use the C2 (hard), C3 (medium), and C4 (soft) compounds, which are softer than typically used at the circuit. In total, drivers will receive two sets of hard, three sets of medium, and eight sets of soft tyres, with additional sets for those reaching Q3 in qualifying. The race weekend, set against a backdrop of expected high track temperatures, will be crucial for tyre management strategies. A two-day slick tyre test will follow the race, involving Ferrari, Aston Martin, and Cadillac.
