Pirelli confirms tyre compounds for 2026 British Grand Prix

Pirelli has announced the tyre compounds for the 2026 British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Due to the track’s high severity and potential for tyre degradation, the C1, C2, and C3 compounds will be used, which are the hardest in Pirelli's range. As it is a Sprint weekend, teams will have 12 sets of tyres available instead of 13, including two sets of hard, four medium, and six soft tyres, along with options for wet conditions. The unpredictable British weather could influence the use of intermediate or wet tyres during the race weekend.
