Pirelli confirms tyre compounds for the 2026 Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid

Pirelli has confirmed the tyre selection for the upcoming Spanish Grand Prix at the new Madring circuit. Teams will receive C2 hard, C3 medium, and C4 soft compounds for the race weekend, which serves as Round 14 of the 2026 Formula 1 calendar. Drivers are allocated two sets of hard tyres, three sets of medium tyres, and eight sets of soft tyres, with an additional set of softs reserved for those reaching Q3. The new circuit is noted for its smooth asphalt and high energy demands, with lateral forces expected to match those at Barcelona and Silverstone. Because the surface features low grip, organisers have treated the track with high-pressure water jets to remove residue. All drivers must use at least two different slick compounds during the race, provided conditions remain dry.
