Pitt athletes promote reading at local elementary school event

Pitt Athletics partnered with Key Bank on September 25 to launch the 'Reading in the Classroom' initiative. Student-athletes from football, women’s lacrosse, softball, and soccer read to students at Sacred Heart’s elementary school in Shadyside. Participants also received free books, bookmarks, and bags to foster their reading habits. Running back Justin Cook emphasized the importance of serving as role models for young students to continue their love of reading.
