Pitt State women's soccer defeats Quincy to reach three-game win streak

Pitt State defeated Quincy 1-0 on Wednesday at the Gorilla Soccer Pitch. Redshirt senior midfielder Avianna Gonzalez scored the game's only goal in the opening three minutes of the match. Junior goalkeeper Jocelyn Kramar maintained the lead by recording four saves to secure a shutout. Although the Gorillas generated 15 shots throughout the contest, including a second-half attempt that hit the crossbar, the narrow lead held through the final whistle. This victory improves the Gorillas' overall record to 3-0 this season. The team now prepares for a road match against Southern Nazarene scheduled for September 5.
