Pittsburgh Pirates host Miracle League athletes at PNC Park event

The Pittsburgh Pirates hosted over 2,000 Miracle League athletes today at PNC Park during Miracle League Day. Pirates Chairman Bob Nutting announced a leadership capital gift from Pirates Charities to aid the construction of a new accessible ballfield at Roxbury Park. This will be the 12th Miracle League field supported by the organization, which has partnered with the Miracle League for nearly 20 years. The event included on-field celebrations and presentations of customized Pirates jerseys to the athletes. Plans for Roxbury Park's new field include accessible features to ensure all athletes can participate.
