Pittsburgh Steelers schedule community events before September 13 season opener

The Pittsburgh Steelers are hosting a week-long series of fan events throughout Pittsburgh leading up to their regular season home opener against the Atlanta Falcons on September 13. Beginning September 7, the organization will transport six large Super Bowl rings to different city locations, including Allegheny Commons Park and Point State Park. Fans are invited to participate in community projects at these stops, such as painting a 24-foot mural that will be unveiled at Acrisure Stadium on game day. Other scheduled activities include a youth football camp and a meal-packing event for local families in partnership with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. The initiatives aim to connect local neighborhoods with the team following the recent 2026 NFL Draft. All activities are presented by Giant Eagle and UPMC.
