Plainfield's Kaegan Hirst named The Bulletin athlete of the week

Kaegan Hirst, a senior at Plainfield High School, has been recognized as The Bulletin athlete of the week for May 25 to June 1. Hirst achieved sixth place in the boys high jump at the CIAC State Open championship with a height of 6-4. The spring season has seen numerous standout performances from athletes across various sports in Eastern Connecticut, reflecting strong competition in baseball, softball, track and field, and more. Following this recognition, The Bulletin is set to resume its athlete of the week polls in September.
