Point guard Darrell Davis commits to the University of Houston basketball program

Darrell Davis announced his commitment to the University of Houston basketball team on Sunday. A 6-foot-1 point guard from SPIRE Academy in Geneva, Ohio, Davis chose the Cougars during his campus visit this past weekend. He is ranked as the No. 6 point guard nationally in the class of 2027 and holds the No. 31 overall national ranking according to 247Sports. Davis marks the second commitment for the program's 2027 recruiting class, joining four-star combo guard Oneal Delancy of Montverde Academy.
