Port Adelaide forward Indy Tahau will miss the remainder of the 2026 AFLW season following a confirmed ACL rupture in her right knee. The 2025 All-Australian suffered the injury during the third quarter of Sunday’s match against Greater Western Sydney. Despite her departure from the field, Port Adelaide secured a four-point victory over the Giants with a goal in the closing seconds. Club football boss Daniel Merrett confirmed the severity of the injury, noting that it represents a significant loss for the team's forward line. Responsibilities in the front half are expected to shift to teammates including Gemma Houghton and Lauren Young. The team is scheduled to host the Gold Coast at Alberton Oval this Saturday in a round four fixture.
