Portland Thorns to honor Tobin Heath on August 22 at Providence Park

The Portland Thorns will hold a pre-match ceremony to honor Tobin Heath on August 22 during their game against the Denver Summit. Heath will sign a one-day contract to officially retire as a Thorns player after eight years with the club, from 2013 to 2020. As a key player, she contributed significantly to the team's success, helping them secure two NWSL championships and one Shield. Heath holds the record for the most assists in Thorns history and shares the NWSL single-season assists record. The ceremony will celebrate her legacy in women's soccer.
