The Portland Trail Blazers lost to the Orlando Magic 112-105 in overtime during their NBA summer league game at Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas on July 12. Two-way forward Jayson Kent led the Blazers with 20 points. Despite improvements in scoring and more players in double digits, Portland could not secure its first victory. Chris Youngblood and Quincy Olivari contributed 14 and 13 points, respectively. The Blazers’ guard DJ Steward exited the game with a hamstring injury after scoring 21 points against the Suns earlier. Portland's next game is against the Minnesota Timberwolves on July 13.
