Portsmouth Little League prepares for New England Regional in Bristol

The Portsmouth Little League 10- to 12-year-old all-star baseball team will compete in the New England Regional tournament in Bristol, Connecticut. The tournament begins with opening ceremonies on Friday, Aug. 7, followed by games starting Saturday, Aug. 8. Portsmouth's first game is against Vermont at 10 a.m. A win would lead them to play the Massachusetts-Maine winner on Monday, Aug. 10, while a loss sends them to an elimination game on Sunday at 4 p.m. Remaining games will be available on ESPN networks from Monday onward.
