Prasidh Krishna sets unwanted T20I records in return against Ireland

Prasidh Krishna faced a challenging return to India's T20I squad in the opening match against Ireland at the Civil Service Cricket Club on June 26. He conceded 27 runs in a single over, marking the highest by an Indian bowler against Ireland in T20Is. After a strong start by India, reducing Ireland to 32/3, the Irish middle order, led by Lorcan Tucker and Gareth Delany, rallied to post 182/9. Krishna’s performance also saw him accumulate 125 runs conceded over his last two T20Is, another unwanted record. The Indian bowlers had initial success, but the later overs proved costly for Krishna.
