Predators trade for Adam Edstrom, send Massimo Rizzo to Rangers

The Nashville Predators acquired forward Adam Edstrom from the New York Rangers during the 2026 NHL Draft. In exchange, the Predators sent forward Massimo Rizzo and the 148th overall pick in the fifth round to New York. Edstrom, a 25-year-old who was drafted in the sixth round by the Rangers in 2019, tallied three goals and two assists in 35 games last season. Rizzo, also 25, played in the ECHL and AHL last year, including 13 games with the Milwaukee Admirals. Following this trade, Nashville now has nine picks remaining in the 2026 Draft.
