Premier League clubs continue pre-season preparations before upcoming matches

Premier League teams are wrapping up their pre-season friendlies as they prepare for the start of the 2026/27 season on August 21. Matches taking place on August 15 include Borussia Monchengladbach 2-1 Aston Villa and Mainz 2-1 Bournemouth. Chelsea secured a 3-1 victory over Real Sociedad at Stamford Bridge. Other matches include Hull City 0-0 Nice and Everton 1-1 Lille, both being held on the same day. The Community Shield featuring Arsenal and Manchester City is scheduled for August 16.
