Premier League clubs pursue final transfers ahead of Tuesday deadline

Summary

English clubs are accelerating transfer activity as the summer window nears its 23:00 BST deadline on Tuesday. Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez remains a primary target for Arsenal, though the player's potential exit from the Spanish club is currently unresolved. Manchester City has initiated discussions with Liverpool regarding attacker Cody Gakpo, while simultaneously tracking Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez. Should Fernandez depart, Chelsea may pursue Monaco's Lamine Camara as a potential replacement. Meanwhile, Liverpool has shifted focus to Crystal Palace winger Ismaila Sarr following unsuccessful bids for Brighton's Yankuba Minteh. Clubs are working to finalize these high-profile moves before the window closes, with several rosters still undergoing significant changes.
