Premier League panel rules Arsenal denied penalty against Aston Villa

The panel concluded that Maatsen should have been issued a second yellow card and sent off for the foul. This represents the first refereeing error logged for Arsenal since January 2025, when a video assistant referee failed to overturn a red card issued to Myles Lewis-Skelly.
