Prince William launches sports suicide prevention toolkit in England

Prince William and the Royal Foundation have introduced On Your Side, a new digital toolkit designed to integrate suicide prevention resources into sporting culture. Developed over two years, the initiative aims to provide practical guidance to anyone in the sporting community who identifies individuals in distress. The project is backed by more than 70 organizations, including the Football Association, the Premier League, Team GB, and British Cycling. The launch event is scheduled at Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium, a location noted for a memorial bench dedicated to former midfielder Gary Speed. Promotional support for the campaign includes figures such as Harry Kane, George Russell, and Rochelle 'Rocky' Clark. The toolkit is set to be fully available to the public following its release, which coincides with World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10.
