Despite fears that his performance could decline, especially with rising competitor Luther Burden III, Houshmandzadeh expressed confidence in Odunze's abilities. He noted that Odunze's catching skill in college set him apart, attributing any drops in the NFL to pressing for success. Odunze has had 98 catches for 1,395 yards and 9 touchdowns over two seasons, though a foot injury impacted his second year. Houshmandzadeh believes Odunze's talent and work ethic will allow him to regain his earlier form.
