Project B adds six WNBA players for 2027 inaugural season

Project B expanded its roster of committed WNBA athletes to 22 following the announcement of six additional signings on Thursday. The newest group includes Betnijah Laney-Hamilton, Angela Dugalić, Brionna Jones, Makayla Timpson, Antonia Delaere, and Valériane Ayayi. This international basketball organization intends to operate separate men’s and women’s leagues consisting of six teams each. The inaugural circuit is scheduled to run from January 2027 through April 2027, with events hosted in Tokyo and Valencia. Participating athletes receive equity in the league, though specific salary details remain undisclosed by the organization. Training camp for the women’s circuit begins January 6, 2027, in Seoul, Korea.
