Purdue football hosts practice as camp progresses on August 10

Purdue football is conducting practice as fall training camp moves forward ahead of the upcoming season, which opens in a little over three weeks. Head coach Barry Odom addressed the media following the morning session, highlighting wide receiver Xavier Townsend's impressive performance. Townsend, who previously played at Central Florida and Iowa State, is expected to fill a critical position for the team.
